Director of Sales and Marketing

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share

  • Building and maintaining solid relationships with Freestyle customers, partners, and vendors

  • Identifying new business opportunities and markets and pursuing leads through networking, and other sales methods

  • Analyzing market trends and competition to share product development and pricing strategies with Management

  • Collaborating with other departments, such as Production Management, to ensure seamless delivery of services on show-site to customers

  • Work with Management staff to analyze budgets and financial reports related to sales activities

  • Participate in industry conferences and gatherings to represent the company and build live-event relationships

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products, services, and capabilities

  • Meet with senior leadership to update on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities for growth for Freestyle.

  • Develop marketing strategies for all channels including print and social media.

  • Manage Website look and content

The Successful Candidate’s Production Sales Experience Should Include the following:

  • The applicant should have a proven track record of success in the live-event industry. They should be able to demonstrate their ability to set and meet sales targets and have a deep understanding of the live-event production industry

  • The candidate should be well-connected within the live-event industry and have a strong network of contacts. This will enable them to build relationships and generate new business opportunities quickly

  • Each prospective employee should be dynamic and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should be able to engage with customers, build rapport, and close deals effectively

  • The successful candidate should be highly motivated and possess a positive attitude toward achieving goals in the live-event industry

  • Overall, the ideal candidate for the Director of Sales and Marketing role at Freestyle Productions should possess a combination of sales expertise, industry knowledge, networking skills, and a dynamic personality to drive sales growth for Freestyle Productions


Salary is based upon experience and commission applied to actual sales.
